Phoenix's Lament

I rose from flames that kissed my wings, A timeless dance where rebirth sings. Ash and ember, my cradle, my shroud, I burn anew, fierce and proud. I watched them gaze, their fragile eyes, Afraid of death, of fate’s disguise. Yet I am death and life entwined, A creature forged beyond the blind. The fire does not scorch it shapes, it molds, It claims the weak, but the strong it holds. Each searing flare, each blinding glow, Marks my path where mortals won’t go. I’ve soared through skies of endless flame, Carved my legend, whispered my name. Not bound by time, not chained by fear, I rise where others disappear. They call it pain; I call it flight, Through searing heat, through endless night. Their fleeting lives, their fragile frames, Cannot grasp the truth my fire proclaims. For I am eternal, unbroken, alive, Through death’s cold hand, I still survive. Each fall, a step to rise anew, With flames reborn, the skies I slew. So let them wonder, let them dream, Of feathers bright, of fire’s gleam. For I am Phoenix, unyielding, free, A flame eternal, destiny's decree.
