Phobophobia
Never having seen such
a sore site for eyes before
he was flabbergasted and I can only surmise
about what he thought he saw
as anxious irrational unrealistic
and much to his surprise
his flabber had never been quite so aghast
yet as nothing does last
in time this too was gone had passed
altho' annoyed but to avoid
the situation again hell-bent
greater than the danger posed
to great lengths he went
but at the back of his mind a memory lurking
a figment of his imagination faded and dim
the enemy within and after all...
it was himself — only him
