Pets' Pleasure
Precious childhood pet
Pleasure-giver with her poise
Presented love to me so pure…
Proven family possession
Pretty Sydna, our cat so playful
Projected love to me as peaceful…
Performing her role as fur-pal
Pestering never with love so plain
Parted from us, leaving me in pain…
Past love affair with cats, postponed
Perhaps was lost for three decades plus…
Previously gone; yet propelled now, so prodded by son’s prompting…
Presently, love for kittens has found me so prepped
Partnership with the cats midst Mommy’s caring posture
Promoted through my special child’s endearing “Pussy-prrprrr."
