Peter Stumpp

A serial killer Peter Stumpp
more than fourteen bodies he did dump
	he ate his prey
	or so they say
he was tortured at a callithump

Note: Referred to as the Werewolf of Bedburg, the German farmer confessed to the atrocities after being tortured – was convicted, skinned, bones broken, impaled, burned at the stake, and then beheaded in 1589.

Hi Linda, I thought of Dahmer when I was reading this. However I echo what Andrea said-Alexis

Hi Alexis. I guess there are still witches and warlocks among us. Thanks for stopping by. :)

Well, it sure sounds like he got his comeuppance. Dahmer's got nothing on THAT guy from history.

Hello Anil. Thank you for visiting. Halloween is the time for scary stories although I admit limerick form is not meant for such as I wrote - much better as a clerihew, or similar. It is what it is...LOL peace and wellness-Linda

Wonder where you got that story. Quite a lively one.

Hello dear Victor! Books are one source. And, of course, the internet is full of stories. However, I've not yet found how the poor guy was tortured to obtain his confession. I wonder what could have been worse than what happened to him after he confessed?

Linda ! What a cheery little poem. I guess its befitting as Halloween is being celebrated. So I will say "Well done" but it made me shiver on a hot day.
