Pet Vacations

Pets take vacations all throughout

the year,

It doesn't matter if inclement weather

is near,

They take adventurous rides with their Masters,

even in the midst of natural disasters,

They soak up the rays minus the sunscreen,

loving the water and the beach because

they like to preen,

The animals love to get away to places

their families have been,

At the end of their vacations they grow

withdrawn and sad,

because the sun and fun creates the best

time they've ever had.

From my personal experiences, dogs seem to have the happier time away from home than cats. Good descriptiveness and rhyming here.

If for the pet contest,I think it will do very well. In fact. I don't know how the judge will decide that contest. Every poet poem I've seen is precious!

Ha, I must be a pet then. My dog does love to go for rides anywhere. Fun poem.
