Pet Owners

We lay out our clothes so crisp and clean, sometime folded. Once in a while pressed. Brush our teeth, wash our face, and return to see them clumped into a happy pet nest. I am not just blaming dogs, I am talking about cats as well. I have had both. We make jokes about their hair when we get to work, to file, and sort, and do boring stuff. We see their hair all day long, sometimes tasting it in our soup, and we smile. Glancing at the clock, wishing our time was done, so we could go home and nest with our pet.

This is eerie, you just described every morning in my house - every single time I lay out my clothes on the bed to get dressed my dog jumps on the bed and rolls on them! Every single time! But I love him anyway-

My dog is happily sitting on my clean clothes, crumpling them with her butt right now.
