“I am but a speck of dust here in this universe that may be blown away by a whiff of breath, but I know, I am priceless in the eyes of God and I wait for a life of perpetual bliss that surmounts the barriers of time and space”~ By Poet.
What wealth for us humans to fare The gift of power, the will to dare. Wit so sharp and insights rare. Hearts to share and souls to care. We're the prime motif in God’s divine design In us, the body and soul mysteriously intertwine. Bestowed with intelligence to discern, And light and warmth like candles to burn. In kingly glory we stand erect n’ tall, Over all animals that beneath us crawl. Blessed generously with copious gifts and skills, And discretion to ward off all sinister ills. Though here on Earth, uncrowned we be, We are the royal princes of the life to be, And legal heirs to celestial glee, After our perilous voyage across the sea. We are flung unasked into this world, And the gift of life before us is generously furled. Never let the vessel of life aimlessly drift. Steer clear of the waves and guard this gift! Know, life does not end with our physical death, Death may come unexpected anytime in stealth. Then, we will enter a land of no fear. And God will wipe away every drop of tear. Where reason questions the mystery of things we can’t see, Faith discerns the existence of a kingdom of perpetual glee. A Kingdom that will not perish, rust, or decay, Where serenity, peace, and contentment are on display.

We are flung unasked into this world… Where reason questions the mystery of things we can’t see, Faith discerns the existence of a kingdom of perpetual glee. We may not have asked but God knows the pure joy that awaits us. God bless!

The contrast between reason questioning the unseen and faith discerning a kingdom of perpetual glee adds depth to the exploration of the afterlife

Ah dear valsa, what a profound and deep write this is, depicting your humble heart and faith that floats within in the most eloquent manner. I love so many lines in this and i cant help but feel the depth of what you’ve conveyed from the quote to the lines such as “ Never let the vessel of life aimlessly drift. Steer clear of the waves and guard this gift! “ great reminder to us readers and i love the way youv rhymed too! And the ending hits strong! Best wishes for the contest. You’ve nailed it

Dear Valsa, your great poem is the inherent worth and potential of human beings, as well as the belief in an afterlife beyond physical death. The poem is formal and elevated, using words like "mysteriously intertwine," "generously," and "perilous voyage" to create a sense of grandeur and significance. You also employ literary devices such as alliteration ("wit so sharp and insights rare") and metaphor ("light and warmth like candles to burn") to enhance the poem imagery. BOL with the contest

What a spiritual and inspirational poem, Valsa. I can feel your faith and your reassurance in your initial quote. I found the quote as well as your poem deeply comforting. I especially liked: Know, life does not end with our physical death, Death may come unexpected anytime in stealth. Your entire poem is filled with insight and wisdom. Am faving it for I agree with all that you said..hugs, Sara Then we will enter a land of no more fear. Where God will wipe away every drop of tear."
