Penny Pincher

I am a poor girl
I do not earn much
I am tight spending
Nothing comes easy
So I waste nothing

Pennies I pick
From off the street
Cares not who sees
It does add up

My family
They call me
Penny pinch

That’s fine
They dine

Hi Joy, loved your diminised hex poem, just like money that diminishes as we speak, my Dad always told me, if you have even a penny in your pocket you are not broke. Best of luck in the contest.

LOL...Mandy, you do that. Sometimes we need to be reminded that under the cross there is no one higher than the other, what becomes one can very well be the fate of the other. So we should not look down but help up! One love.

True that Linda...Jamaica's first lady of comedy Louise Bennett used to say..."Every mikkle makes a mukkle". I firmly believes that. Glad you are OK so far, just keep the prayers going. Love always.

I have always picked up a coin from the street or anywhere I see it..It is not an easy thing to do anymore..Sometimes I just can't because of the back problems..I hate to see them on the street or ground or floor..Great work that should do well in the contest..Thanks for stopping by..Sara

I know about that Sara, just think nothing should go to waste. I hate to see someone eat and leave a whole bunch of food in their plate and toss it to the garbage. I think we should all think of the people who hasn't a morsel for days when we do stuff like that. sorry...I am prattling away here. One love Sara and thanks.
