Like a pearl, a prize, glowing bright
Against the setting of soft skies
Graceful as rain, my heart’s delight
Breathless promise in gentle eyes
Silently, soul yearnings arise
Shining down, a promise to write
Brilliant as the stars who chastise
Like a pearl, a prize, glowing bright
Laughing beyond the darkest night
Breathless wonder, music so wise
Perfect as a pearl, yet pale white
Against the setting of soft skies
Peaceful, joy seeking her disguise
Comforting the darkness, the fright
Gentling the fears before sunrise
Graceful as rain, my heart’s delight
Reflecting the moods who excite
Coloring moments with surprise
From sensations before midnight
Breathless promise in gentle eyes
Never listen to the dark lies
Moon glistening soft, such a sight
Tender flame, blushing, she supplies
So beautiful, kind and polite
Like a pearl, a prize
