Pear-Shaped
She queued for tickets
at the ticket booth
and paid in euros...
Her tickets were pear-shaped
for a film called "Pear".
She came pear-shaped to the matinée.
You knew I would say that,
or maybe the booth man told you
as she walked away...
Her heels clicked on the crazy path
and the man looked as long as dared.
