'Peanuts, Popcorn, Pretzels'

Hear the vendors at the game
       driving loyal fans insane

    “Peanuts, popcorn, pretzels” they shout
With my friends and me, they all strike out

Concession at the movies is outrageously expensive and I bet ballgames are the same!

Now I can smell them, and I can’t smell much…might have a cold coming on…wait, let me give it the boot…

Those prices certainly don't help. Legal extortion.

It is a shout I hear often. Somehow, it creates a nostalgic feel in me. 'Ice...creaaaam, Ice creeaaaam ' was the more common sound, heard from the streets. As children, we used to rally round the ice cream vendor. Thanks Gershon for reviving childhood memories in me.

Glad to be of some small assistance, Valsa. Enjoy. ~ Gershon
