Peaceful Tunnel
They were like rats in the narrow tunnels
They fought bravely and brilliantly
They are of themselves
They love their culture and traditions.
They do love their language
They were skilled artisan and warriors
They are patriotic as well as witty and wise
They made sandals from the old tire rubber.
The war ended, colonialism gone
They were called Viet Cong to mean the Viet-Communist.
They now, the south and the north are one: Vietnam.
They are now at 40 years at solidification of peace.
I love you peace. Let's sail together. Layag Sug!
