Congratulations for your win Milt. The art of making peace does require care and attention in order for goodwill to bloom leaving no room for hatred or indifference. Nice choice of words!

I think so, Sam. I'm afraid that most of us simply do not put enough time and effort into making peace. If we did, surely we would see more peace in our time.

Thanks, Andrea. I didn't think this was soooo profound and the placement showed it. Sometimes, I just give up and write something the best I can.

Thank you, Ann. It's a broad subject and difficult to nail in a one-liner, IMHO.

Amen, wouldnt that be great if we could put aside our differences and come together in Peace. Great concept written here. I'm amazed at all the Poetry you have written since I commented last. I can realize your passion for writing. Great effort...

(chuckling) You are right, Michael, but I'm not sure whether it's a "passion for writing" or a "compulsion to write." You'd think by my age it would lessen...seems not so. Thanks you so much.

Thanks so much, gw. Send me your goodwill, and I'll send you my hatred. No, wait. Send me your hatred, and I'll send you my goodwill. No, wait, that can't be right. HELP!!!!

I like the contrast of 'pervasive goodwill' - though goodwill is a rare commodity these days~

It is, indeed! I hope my monoku will resonate with all who read it. I expect we'll see a marvelous collection of monokus on the subject of peace. Can hardly wait!
