Peace Beneath Gray Skies

The heavy snow falls, as if to start winter again And with flurries of flakes, return worries from then Twirling life in a spinning circle of never ending things Old resolutions sought again, a repeat of days gone by While grasping for the beauty on decorated branches Covered with delicate lining, reaching across the hills As if the answers will be there, laced perfectly in white Written boldly to see, to bring peace beneath gray skies Heidi Sands 4/9/19
