Peace

Peace where there is none
Gaza, Ukraine, the Border
Whose Border?
Theirs, ours

Asylum, Security,
Law and Order
Threats, Justice

Mercy, Compassion, My neighbor?
Whose neighbor?

Angry pundits, homeschool moms
Snipers, social media
Church on Sunday
Hate on Monday

Guard the Children
Whose Children?

Protect the Women
Whose Women?

Empower the Men
Which men?

But is it always two sides?
Fighting
One against the other

Is it always us against them
Never sister to sister
Brother to brother, sisters and brothers from other mothers

And if it’s not
How much of another is the other?
How far will we go to build a wall, divide a line,
Which line?
Whose line?
Line in the sand
Bloodline

Who’s right?
Who's Wrong?
Who’s left?
