Peace

Dear Lord
             Your peace
brings total wholeness
nothing broken nothing taken apart
Your peace brings a sense of calm deep within our heart
your peace is perfect it makes us feel at ease
bringing us to a place we belong
and we sing unto you in joyful song
we could search high
we could search low
we could search the world through and through
but the peace in this world is nothing
compared to the peace that comes only from you. Amen

Lasting peace comes only from God.

Isaiah 9 verse 6-7.
For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
And he will be called:
Wonderful Counselor,* Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 His government and its peace
will never end.
He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David
for all eternity.
The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies
will make this happen! Amen.

~ "May 'You All' Have A Very Blessed & Beautiful Day!!!":):) Smile, "Bye Everyone" ~ Ps. I am extremely glad "Dear Diane Christian," to see from the many comments below, that "Your Blessedness" has been making rounds within this place at Poetry Soup; for, I do believe, that this is what "Your Father In Heaven," has 'Always' wanted "Your Light" to do!!!:):) Smile, "Bye Dear" ~

Lasting peace comes only from God. No matter how or where else we search there is no peace like that given by our heavenly Father. God Bless, and thank you for this uplifting prayer. Ron
