Pause Don'T Rush
Some roads are easy
Some are long winded
So focused on reaching a destination,
Fast and easy.
We miss the forks and bends,
The flowers by the roadside,
The patter of raindrops on the ground,
The smell of crisp fresh air,
The hues of a rainbow in the clouds,
The dazzle of dew drops on the grass
The silhouettes against a sunrise,
The mesmerizing sunset,
The buzz of life forms,
The laughter of friends,
The love of family,
The comfort of home,
The silence of the night,
The sparkles of a million stars,
The life force of the sun,
The phases of the moon
The entire universe beyond
Pause! Don’t Rush
Take a moment, savor it.
