Patience To See the Difference
As I look at the brown landscape, bare trees and the surrounding pale sky,
All of nature waits in transition for spring to decorate it with vibrant colors
Waiting just the same with things in life that have a way of coming to a standstill
When wishes flourish for better times or positive change from what is disturbing
Although the scene may be bland, far up in the sky retains a sense of open freedom
And if you watch long enough, birds will fly by, moving along with their message
There is always something new to see, beautiful to find, somewhere, anywhere,
With the willingness to take the flight and the patience within to see the difference
