Passionately
This poem is written for the Gender Bender contest, sponsored by Richard Lamoureux!
**Passionately**
Why do you not hold me,
passionately?
The little things
that show you care.
Like running your fingers
through my hair!
You used to rub my back,
passionately!
the little things
like foot massages,
manicures and pedicures.
I always felt secure
we used to make love,
passionately!
The little things
like kissing my stomach
and inner thighs,
Dancing naked until sunrise!
We used to make out in public,
passionately!
The little things
like homemade meals for two,
date night once a month.
Love all night in the buff!
You used to speak to me,
passionately!
The little things are gone now
we fight more than we get along.
I've tried to stay strong
but my heart has moved on!
Name held until contest over!!
