Pat Adams Poet Quatrain

Party Time

It was a party for the ages
Everyone and their friends were there
When half way through the festivities
A loud explosion burst in the air!

Cy Cosis yelled, "They are after me!"
Debbie Downer said, "That was not fun!"
Bab Ling Brook ran down the hillside
Petey Essdee said, "I'm getting my gun"

Del E. Gate said, "Annie, check it out!"
Annie Rexiya said, "I"m too fat"
Perry Noid said, "We should just hide!"
Sue Purglu said, "I'd stick with that!"

Carrie Oakey sang slightly off key,
"I'll be joining you in heaven mom!"
While Sam R. Eye pulled out his sword!
A kid said, "My firecracker was the bomb!"

Rolling eyes and frowns all around
Embarrassment at colors laid bare
The kid looked around and said, "What?"
And they all just went home in despair!
