Parasite
Charles had his visits resumed,
Thrice eating what he consumed.
We were all by him deceived
And readily was received!
Charles, who had false names assumed
And that we had not presumed;
He had had it all conceived,
My present folly perceived…
Now, A Case of Food Shortage,
I plan to One Room mortgage;
It can’t be Steady Porridge.
For Vegetable Mere Cabbage…
Starvation knocking hard:
I wish I’d play My Best Card;
No pretending to Holy Fast:
The look of clouds overcast…
I now watch for Parasite
With My Clean Pair of Eyesight
Yep: could kill New Parasite
Venturing into my site.
