Pandemic

PANDEMIC

Covid- Nineteen demanding quarantine of mass populace
no less, but to face stagnant standstill static state all over the State.
Virulent virus menacing infectious, scary spectral, sometimes fatal.
My close friends and relatives turned victims battling with Covid.

Shock of sudden demise in adverse environ
proved repeatedly ‘humans are so helpless’.
Basic Philosophy of Human Instinct are shattered.
We were not even allowed to touch Dead Bodies of Dear Ones
We were not permitted for natural cremation.
Couldn't stand beside the family of the deceased in this crucial period.
        Precious lives are devalued.

Public now rushing for jab though not fool proof
        specially to confront second wave.
Medical Science sees one ‘Natural Death Point’
now to focus on ‘Covid Point’ parallel to Death Point.

Only solution: Precautionary measures based on Social Distancing.
Human beings basically ‘Social’ turning selfish in Survival Contest.
Desolation brings frustration not to lend hand on Natural Emotive Urge.
Depressed dull days engrossed in forlorn hope.

     Whatever however, exerting Will Power
to get rid of horrible holocaust
Termination of ‘off and on’ Lock down: Me, on counting down.
Yet I am an optimist to believe ‘Pandemic Session will be over
     sooner or later.

When will I move free to support philosophy of Life?
When will I be able to hug my Dear Ones on impulsive rapture?
