Panacea

PANACEA

It said, cures all ills,
I took it, not for thrills.
Drowning sorrows for tomorrow,
I drank it, no help at all.
I shot up, but fell.
Therapist tried, oh, what the hell!
There are no remedies to mend
this broken heart.
