Palm Tree

A tall branchless trunk,
With lush, palmate sun-kissed leaves:
Tropical beauty.

Just recently we returned from visiting So California....I didn't realize how I missed the palm trees..something we don't have in the north. Somehow they just make one feel like we're closer to "Paradise" a place to escape for awhile.... lovely haiku, Raul....

As I get ready to leave the oaks in Tallahassee in search of the Ormond Beach palms, I love contemplating the image you describe. Beautiful haiku, Raul.
