 s h a p e me ~ 
  with nautilus shells,
     shimmering 
like shifting shadows
 in sultry silence 
        across 
   hermit 
          shores 
where 
the inked 
      silhouette 
of the cerulean siren
   dawns as 
     sapphire 
           souvenirs
of poetry you've written
          beneath 
  lovestruck
               skies
of music you've dreamed
        beneath 
crystalline cloudscapes
swaying in hammocks
      hugged
   by palm-leaf 
       p r o m i s e s ...
for within the
        aquatic eyes
of the 
heart-laced horizon
      I feel 
 saffron sighs 
while thoughts 
    of teal roses 
            roam 
to home 
      and rhyme 
the sun and the moon
    in sea-kissed 
                   warmth
amidst the  
  trembling tip
   of your 
        quivering quill
purging 
       selkie
           soliloquies 
painting
     shipwreck 
               shivers~
an island 
          l o v e reverie
brushed with
    t i m e and h o p e...

IE, I think you're saying that the island has a magical power to inspire poetry and feelings that allows us to feel wonderful. I say I am in 100% agreement! I love that you describe this sentiment. Absolutely enchanted by this island dreamscape. "Swaying in hammocks hugged by palm-leaf promises" and "Selkie soliloquies painting shipwreck shivers"—pure poetic bliss. The island vibes and metaphors make me feel like I’m floating through a love letter written in ocean breeze. A fav!

shimmering like shifting shadows in sultry silence … mmmmm the alliterations!!! the inked silhouette of the cerulean siren dawns as sapphire souvenirs.. look at u weaving fine art using perfect parts of the elements… music you've dreamed beneath crystalline cloudscapes.. the beauty in the dreaminess of that line ..painting shipwreck shivers.. love the heaviness there !!! Absolutely stunning!!!

Sigh. The Maldives must be so beautiful. I wonder if some might take it for granted. Nice tribute to your home and here's hoping and wishing you have that special someone who writes love reveries for you.

Sorry to hear you're getting hate stuff. It gets old for sure. As for politics, human rule has failed and will continue to fail to meet the real needs of the people. We need something better

Thank you tomsz, hope you are doing well. I have many writing love reveries and hate too about me. Maldivians are very proud of their sun and sea and sand but there’s so much more that makes us unhappy.. which can get political if spoken about. Thank you for your visit. Appreciate your support truly
