Pale Shelter

(own title: Get What You give) You need me I am well aware of that You love me and in your own way, you show me that but your way is not necessarily my way If you want the real me don't condescend to me and don't put down in me the things that define me Accept my flaws Don't try to tell me how I NEED to be Accept me for who I am . . . as I do you Hold me in the night Don't make me ask for that If you see me crying. . . open your eyes and realize why- then hold me even tighter If you do these things, you'll then get back from me a love that is real. Wow! Andrea I really enjoyed this write. It could be for anyone in a toxic relationship. We all want the one who professes " love" to really show authentic love.
