Pain Is Good

What do we gain?
If there is no pain.
Some will applaud the sun and complain about the rain.
Nevertheless, we need both just the same.
In life our goals we strive to obtain;
Some dreams we will lose, some we will gain.
This journey grows but I hope it will never end,
There have been so many roads I have seen and places I have been.
The pain in my life you cannot see it but I can.
It hurt sometimes that is why I keep it locked in.
I walk carefully and quietly on this journey in life.
I walk with faith and hope but not by strife.
Pain will surround you and find you every day.
Surprisingly nothing helps, it just goes away.
I can tell you pain hurts physically.
But I believe it hurts more mentally.
