Page 26

Rocket Number 26, take off to the planet and contrive page 26,
It’s the missing page from my memoir,
This is my Page 26, story,
I for one Bryan, I have been through, travel tears and running on empty,
But whatever happened then, I had something to believe in,
My afflatus was and is faith in God, music & the ambient!
So! Let’s now take a nip to my private peninsula, as we welcome my birthday,
So please, come inside, but don’t go, into hiding,
Somebody say,“happy 26th birthday,”
You can relate with me, only if you’re not another phony friend,-
Otherwise my zest will bomaye, you.
I have dashed into limbo once, smiling with the devil,
And I don’t wana smile again with the devil during nightfall.
Fml! Money is changing my lituations,
And now I’m H.A.M with an iconic life synopsis.
Just to apprise you, in 2001, Veni Vidi full-moon knack in me,
Now with this 26th page of my journal, I have dependent vows,
I want as much currency as sunrise,
So that, it can be effectual to complete the assembly of my castle!
As a Poet, I can fix despair days that consume you’re heart, friends!
It’s my 26th birthday! Reflecting 26 mirrors & my life is, premium,
But I do know one thing,
History repeats itself for every page in a journal,
Just like I believe in De-javour and Karma,
So paint me on your bedroom walls friends, when I can still grin,
And let me be that thunder-storming friend,
You will always have at heart even when,in vacation,
Now Dj!Dj! Dj! Please, play me that “Crown” song’ By Jay-Z,
Kith and kin let’s rave, it’s my anniversary,
Welcome to my 26th birthday,
And kiss me all, Coz I haven’t yet lost my greatness.

You are so young to write this well, Bryan! I loved the ride you took us on in this poem. I felt like I was joining you in space and in limbo. Happy Birthday, Bryan! The world can still seem magical at your age, so live life to the fullest and make it to page 126. Hugs, Carolyn

Involving poetical prose. You are lucky to be 26. I am 80, but my thoughts are similar although on a different page. And me too need currency as sunrises!
