Notes About The Poem
Interesting fact... an Oxymoron is two words put directly next to each other that contrast each other. Whereas a Paradox is a sentence or phrase where the contrasts are separate. Both say something conflicting but still manage to make sense! :-D
Oxymoron-ic Mania
As an all or nothing person,
I'd say I'm "Consistently Inconsistent"
When there's an elephant in the room
You hear that "Deafening Silence"
Its the "Same Difference" to others,
Whatever decision you make.
Too many "Perfectly Imperfect"
Strawberries will give you belly ache.
It's "Seriously Funny" how
Oxymorons can be written!
Although I enjoy writing,
It's my "Unbiased Opinion"
We always try to "Act Naturally"
To be true to all and to self.
If not, things can get "Pretty Ugly"
And won't help our mental health.
A "Random Order" of events
Sends routines in to a "Tidy Mess"
"Unconsciously Aware" of change,
Chaos is a "Sure Bet"
The weather can be "Faithfully Unreliable"
One can get caught in its deceit -
The choice to put the washing out
Is one that's "Bittersweet"...
And so, if in conclusion,
You feel confused.com,
Then this is clear as mud to you!
I'd say my work is done.
