“In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.” Psalm 18:6 of the King James Bible
Frustration obscures hope, dimming victory glow
gripping heart with failure angst toward worthlessness’ plunge
tortured by self-pity while wallowing in agonizing oppressive dilemma…
My soul loathes this miserable condition I resolve to overcome.
When unfinished goals bring distress gloom
my time management skill is challenged along multi-tasking expertise
locking me inside frustration-cell where guilt feasting mockingly welcomes.
With feeling of futility incessantly engulfing my achievement-oriented mind
the urge to accomplish compels me more rigorously
suffocating me midst anticipated frustration-anxiety.
Now, I surrender my own frustration pangs of afflicting debility
to God, my loving Saviour Who grants triumph, assuring bliss
enabling me to conquer by faith
personal infirmities to serve jubilantly for His honour.
