Taking a Stand

I can see you hurting and those pills you take just aint working you always put yourself down when you walk you face the ground the scars on your wrist are so clear its everyone elses thoughts that you fear when people look you look away you dont want them to see you this way when you get home all you can do is cry while putting the razor to your skin wondering why how anyone can do what they did you used to be a kind and innocent kid until they tore you apart like putting a needle through an already broken heart but i promise times will get better youll get through this stormy weather and shine brighter than the sun and forget all the things that theyve done because theres always gonna be a brighter day when you face the sky and start to say it doesnt matter what they did too me im gonna be the person i was meant to be show them all that i can overcome all the pain and take a stand
