Outside Looking In

I sat there looking out the window trying to understand my true beauty. When nothing is going right all I can do is listen and believe everything you say about my inner and outter beauty. I step back and think like you do and no matter how I look at myself I don't see it. I'm standing on the outside looking in to my own eyes, I see what you see. I just don't understand why you think I'm so amazing. I ran into your arms with my eyes glistening and tears slowly trailing down my checks telling you I'm sorry. You glance at me with a look of confusion in your eyes. I said i know I'm beautiful I took a little trip in your shoes spent time standing on the outside looking in.
