Outlaws of Love

There is a bounty for our hearts Luv,
gold and fame for the flat riders who dare lower our flame
seeking to steal our fortune of raw carnal currency, our soul gold,
Love's law has decreed our passion a sedition against tradition,
a violation of virtue, a willful act of feral freedom, unauthorized love prize,
the old and ossified Judges are corrupt with dry eyes
the flesh upon which these laws are scribed suffers from necrosis,
they allege we are prisoners of passion
they say you are my **** of seduction
they assert I am your beast of brawn taboo
they know not that you are a rose of fire within my heart,
they fail to realize that I am your lion of lust and trust,
they squawk and hiss in their chambers of spoiled embers,
jealous and freezing from forgotten romance
what do they know of our embrace and fury,

When we cry for eachother, when we touch like none other,
when we come for one another, when we battle with scorching thunder
our love justice soars supreme, our only law, to love with rebel youth, to never surrender -

To love with rebel youth..that is the kind of love that offers wild passion and soft scents of life. They hiss in their chambers /jealous and freezing from their forgotten romance.Justin I picked some of my favourite lines. Those that have not tasted flowers and licked the sweet sweat of fire will never understand, but others will.I do find this poem both sensual and loving..It carries all the spices any romance should have..B-)Charma

This is really about love justice and love freedom! Beautiful, because you understand the opposers too - "they squawk and hiss in their chambers of spoiled embers, jealous and freezing from forgotten romance"...That’s delving deep inside them, finding their bitter cores…for they once may have felt the heat of youthful love but have long let out the flame. You’re breathtaking, Justin..keep up the amazing work. The boldness and sensual sensation of this piece makes it an instant fav on my list. Always, Laura

I like being in your instant Laura. It feels so good to feel your exuberance for this love justice...freedom to trust one's heart...faith to withstand the haters, to teach the disbelievers. Thank you so much for seeing the totality of this work. Love that slang too Laura...J.A.B.

Now this poem really pops! It has an almost sophisticated western feel to it, which is really cool and admirable. When your heart cries for something so bad, no living dead judges can dull the feeling with their laws and stone cold authority. I like the rebellious two, how they mold each other a new law of their own, for that youthfulness of love to thrive despite all odds against them.

Yes my lovely Laura, this poem does have that western, rogue aura to it...love that won't submit to misery...their love, a law above dust and dream...you know the battle for love's survival Laura...J.A.B.

A warrior love . . . truth lies in the passion of two hearts not in what the worlds deems to judge. The truth manifesting itself in physical intimacy. . . . an old warrior who still has some fight remaining . . .

Who dares to outlaw love? Who dares to call the one whom you love a slut? Wow! That is incredible wording and imagery, Justin. A real tirade against meddlers and scoffers...people who have no heart...people who sit in the judgment seat when they themselves need to be judged. Your vehement eloquence in this piece sizzles with pride and passion and persistence. I'm awed by your write. Sensual sensations sizzle....great write. I'm glad you've posted something new. Hugs

I understand, Justin. I face problems in this area. My views on the subject are not always in line with those of others...If two hearts are mutually consenting....the world can go to hell. If you get a chance, and are interested, you can read my blog. What Would You do for Love? An interesting question. I'd love to know your thoughts on it...If you have time. Thanks for the response.

There exist narrow, and salted views on what love is between two hearts, how love should be made and expressed by lovers. Tradition, convention, ill defined morals which assail true love unfamiar to them. This poem is about protecting real love, recognizing the difference between law and justice, which are often at odds in this world Eileen...J.A.B.
