The bear goes in hibernation Unto a den to await the winter days Coldness and darkness surrounding How in these times is there much to ponder Sitting in the quiteness to seek rest Waiting patiently for that day Could one see this The warm spring sunny day Shines a new light unto his den That brings life to this bear to awaken How the bear must embrace And soak in the warm sun on his nose In the first steps of daylight As the heat begins to flow throughout Making his body ready to sprint He watches the smoke come from his nostrils Then takes it all in and looks around For this is beautiful scenery among us With, that nose he sniffles Wow, this aroma is of heavenly The paws grasp the ground in eagerness He is ready to enjoy this newfound life

I absolutely loved reading this, the depth of your lines and how descriptively and vividly you’ve painted imagery here is truly impressive and i especially loved the way you’ve delivered your thoughts in such a creative manner. Especially “ How in these times is there much to ponder Sitting in the quiteness to seek rest” somehow resonates and hit’s deep . Sometimes it takes a minute to awaken and rise to see and appreciate all that around , see little things from a soulful light. Pleasure readin

Oh my, what a lovely write this is! I absolutely adore these imageries that you've artistically created about hibernation and how the bear awaits to feel the sunlight melting in his aura.. This poem gives me a sense of soothing vibe which delicately swirls when we are given a quality time to reflect upon ourselves and enlighten our conscience. A deep write..pleasure reading this!

After hibernation, with the touch of the golden rays of God, the flaming sun, like a bear, we will spring out from our hollows to get washed in light and see the beauty of our soul's spring and inhale the heavenly fragrance all around us. Beautiful analogy, dear Stephan. Wish you and your family a Merry Christmas.

I appreciated your poetic version of a bear's hibernation but thought there was another layer of meaning...We as humans need to hibernate in order to rejuvenate then awaken to a newfound life. I love the images you created. Have to fave this for its hidden meaning. enjoy your evening, Sara
