I knew aging wasn't going to be fun, but I didn't know I would get ugly:(

Perfect penning, Ann -- only I'm rooting for you to 'make a comeback' and outrun age, just like I do. (lol). Enjoyed contemplating the notion. Kudos, gw

Thanks, Gershon. My running has become walking and my reward is the glass of cabernet :)

"Make hay whilst the sun shines" still works for me, as does, "Eat, drink, and feel Mary"! You only grow old when you can't look after yourself! Aloha!

Do you know the song, "Those were the days, my friend--we thought they'd never end..." can't remember female singer. That song sums up aging really well. We did think they'd never end...sigh.

Ah, so hard sometimes to look in that mirror, I'm letting my hair go gray at 62, and its no easy fiat, its half way there, wanna run for the tube of dye, lol, rooting for you Ann, with a glass of wine in one hand, and my feet softly trespassing, towards you I come as an old friend, be well, age gracefully, and never lose hope on Love and Faith, xo

Oh Mystic Rose, that is so beautiful. I finally let my hair go grey--no more "tall blonde," boo hoo. It's a huge step--haha. Age gracefully and never lose hope on Love and Faith (and no Botox)! Thanks for your comments :)

Hi Kim! It does seem life has become so regimented--eat this, not that, walk like this, not that. Thanks for commenting :)

Hello Ann peck, there is no getting away from age. I feel that Age is just a number. It is how you feel that counts. Enjoy your evening my friend.

Thanks for commenting, Darlene. It does make a difference if you feel good, so I do try to eat right and exercise. And, also, it helps to have a good attitude like you have :)

As it does with all of us, Ann... sooner or later! I told my doctor today I'd like two or three more good years and he said he saw me up into my nineties. Ann, I don't want to be in my nineties, period!!!! I never wanted to get old, but the older I get, the less I like it and there's nothing I can do about it. Old age is for the young!

I feel the same way, Milton, but Big Pharma is keeping people way past their due date. And who wants to stay in this crazy world anyhow, it has become so mean and scary. The future does not look good. I'm afraid I've inherited my great aunt's genes--she lived to 106!
