Our Souls Would Weep
I would hold you in my arms
each night,to make
you feel better
Intertwined two bodies
of naked flesh
a mixture of body parts
never being able to
distinguish one from another
Seeing only two heads held
closely together
my lips kiss your head
my finger tips stroke your brow
Our souls' possess each others
body as our being's hold each
others tight allowing our hearts
to beat as one
A peace is felt as all else
melts away
One could not exist without
the other
When apart our souls'
would weep
My lips would lose their softness
deprived of kissing yours
My voice held hostage
absent yours to speak to,
as my heart would cease
to beat
I would fade away into the
nothingness,
not even a whisper on a breeze
to flow through life
No words can describe what
we share, as none uttered
can express these feelings
You are my anchor to this life
Together we will remain one
