Our Song Verse 1

If you could teach the world to sing, what song would they be singing?

From all the words that you could choose, what words would keep them thinking?

Allegories with apostrophes, similes or rhyming,
It matters not the tricks you use, our children keep on dying.

And day by day their numbers grow, helpless and in need.
With rolled up sleeves, a demand we make, and that is to be freed.
With political censorship the world could sing but the TV would not show
Then try as we like to sing together none of us would know.

For all you kin who hear my song its time to write your own....

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
