If eighty-five is old, for sure, I am. Although my soulmate is still here with me, gone are our Spring, Summer- and Autumn spree- as Winter years complete life's diagram. There is a sanctuary, our dear niche, we visit often, peaceful and well-lit where one of us is left to lay- one sit within alone and sad- we wonder which. Which one of us will use the empty chair? Which one of us will fly- with angels roam? Our wish- together you can bring us home! Dear God, please hear this aging couple's prayer.

My husband and I wonder which one will go first from time to time plus the thoughts what will the other do to make out with one missing. Thanks for your winning entry in my contest. Congratulations. Way to go. Sara K
