Our Poetic Community

One can feel the love of others, tis a most delicious elixir to drink. Abandonment, ignored or resented, by old friends is like drowning in solitude, in a dark, deep sink. Much more to the good, to support, and respect, and love one another. All of us, God’s children, all colors, we were told we are all sisters and brothers. We, a poetic, fabulous community, penning words that totally glimmer! As we share our soulful thoughts with our talented,international artistic others! 7~28-2022 ~2~

Sam, tis souls like yours, and poetry you create that is so delightful!. Being together here is a blessing. The more I write, the more I see a need to grow poetically. After I just renewed, I took a day off and re-evaluated my poetry. Some, are far from my expectations! I have so much to learn. One thing is concentrating on my poetry in classical form… There is freedom here to pen as each poet sees fit. I came here to write poetry..nothing more. The friends I have here I love and respect. Hello there, Tim. I do try my best at the great compliment you gave me! I am not here to sweep people off their feet with imagery, nor show off my vocabulary. Not good at that. I dwell in the area of conceptualization. I will look for my monument. I still have a long, long poetic road to hoe! 3 years is not long to write poetry. However my life experience is vast, colorful, and quite marvelous..I am so glad we are poetic siblings of Apollo! Panagiota xxx

Hi Panagiota, this is an excellent write and the words are so true. There are so many wonderful poets on this site. I used to start reading peoples poems from the first one for I loved to see how they took wing and started to fly. I may go back to that again. A wonderful write. A fave from me. How amazing, I was just reading a poem of yours! Getting older is getting to me.plus am not exactly a speed reader. My time here is less, as well, so you see no need to apologize.
