Our Poet Destroyer

Like a buzzing bumble bee welcoming the opening of stunning new blooms, she flits constantly from page to page just to check out all the new poems. If you are one of the lucky new poets, she will pollinate your written work with a sparkling comment that will often leave you in such a state of awe that rendering a response beyond just a simple "thank you" is difficult. She is loved by many new poets and appreciated by even more while others green with jealously envy her own poetic skill and talent. She may go by this name or that name, or occasionally use her given name, but to all those who really do care she will always be our "Poet Destroyer."

You're a doll destroyer! Thanks for checking in on me I just recently got done with the college semester. I got through algebra with a "B" this time around and "A" in the science course I needed. I will be up here over the holidays and you already found the new poem I put up there. It was written expressly for bus drivers and it has been well received by them which I just think is great..

Thank You! I felt like I put it together kind of quickly just to get it into her contest, but elements of it are right on target judging by the comments I received and I really love the idea that others not only like it, but agree heartily with the content. Often when I aim high for content in a piece I will slip a little out of pure poetic form. Thank You! Kim

PS.. thank you for the nice reading poem. I try my best when it comes to making others feel welcome. I will follow many when they need and seek the encouragement. I wrote one on her for A.O's contest but I didn't know the form and I couldn't enter it. It was a Limerick entitled, "To Make PD Smile." I'm sure you will make her smile with this one. It is GOOD! :)
