"free from conditioned belief no agenda on our shelf vibrant as the light of Self life flows on all by itself” - Unseeking Seeker
All I wish is to be my genuine self Free of all agenda, unshackled and free, And flowing like a winding river Over shoals, crags and boulders, Carving its slithering way to the destination, Until it merges with the mighty ocean. There’s so much freedom in my roaming. I don’t have to put on appearances, Or don a mask, but be original No agenda to follow, no canons to obey I can live listening to the gentle dictates of my soul Guided by the inner light burning in me Glowing like a lamp in the night With the oil, poured to feed on. Retain my natural state without embellishments Experience the unadulterated joy of being me Renewing now and then, leaving aside Old conformities like the sloughed skin of a snake. I don’t have any deadlines to meet. Like a square peg in a round hole, I don’t have to struggle to fit in, But accepting myself as I am. I want to travel light, never letting the weight, Of the world hang heavy on my shoulders. I don’t desire for any laurels or badges I don’t wish to fall victim to the numbing Or dumbing cravings for power, wealth or fame Never allow any hankering that plagues the soul And muddle the mind with a desire to see my name Placed in the list of victors of the world. All I wish is to build bridges between man and man Speak the language that connects one to the other See everything as God’s gift and thank Him for it. Love, laugh, live and let live, cherishing myself and others!

"Experience the unadulterated joy of being me" -- I can imagine that being the peak of unfoldment for any living soul. Well said. "All I wish is to build bridges between man and man Speak the language that connects one to the other" -- a beautiful soul. Lovely read. Thank you.

Dear Valsa, your poetry is quite remarkable. Your poem perfectly conveys the profound need for being oneself and breaking free from the constraints and norms of society. The freedom to be themselves, unfettered by other people's approval, goals, or money needs, is what you wish for them. The poem also touches on topics like accepting oneself as one is, being unique, and the happiness that comes from being yourself. The piece highlights the interdependence of all people and ponders the significance of being in tune with one's intuition and the environment.

Not to be tied to any codes or beliefs leads nowhere really. It is humility that leads us to a higher eternal bliss.

If we have the inner Light and are trying to follow it, we will be okay. If we don't have that inner Light then whoa to the world, it will need to watch out for us. Thanks for sharing this contest entry with us. Reads like a good contender to me. Way to go. Sara K

This world needs more souls like you dear sweet valsa, one that feels and wants beyond materialistic things in life such as labels, and all that which glitters and glistens, i wish for you too an easy life one that is lighter and not heavy. How youv expressed throughout this poem is so fitting for the line of enquiry and also flows so beautifully, and in such a way that would make the reader pause and appreciate and feel the words woven in such a profound manner! Youv delivered a very soulful one! One that resonates and is a fave for me! Sending you light always! Best wishes in the contest too
