If only we could stop time, Wilma! Think of all the joyful days we could preserve forever. Very uplifting tanka, dear. Love, Carolyn

Time is fleeting and then it's gone. It sucks when you know time is running short. I'm not a fan of repetition, but lines 1 and 3 are strong in portraying the tick of time. I have a poem on time, too. I wanted to stop the clock also.

Thank you, Ms. WilMa :) you are ever so kind :) just like my mom lol --you have to bear with me ok? I am awake yet again at 2am in the morning this is the super duper last comment with regards to that--haha the tadpole grew into a frog again--there- (yeah right) anyhow-- I wanted to thank you for your comments-- that was sort of inspired by a friend who got married ;) though tweaked some bits like she is not a fart...smart but definitely not a fart ;)

Very meaningful tanka-- don't we all wish sometimes that we can just freeze time? Sorry I fell off the face of email earlier lol-- I had to eat my merienda cena :) haha what can I do? I needed brain food so I can write ;) now I am off yet again to eat some crab & corn soup haha (see what snacking does to me? I get hungry at weird intervals!!) --nikko :)
