Our home is a place of unswerving love. A sweet abode of peace we long to have. Here our commitments, we often avow, And dreams colorful, we skillfully weave. It’s ever tilted to the source of light. But has moments of dissonance and strife. Though the mist of winter sets in to smite, Yet it is warm and resonant with life. Within its firm and well protected walls There is no room for pretense or deceit. Flung open are the doors of its small halls, To let in unrestricted flow of light. Here we share our life’s transient joys and grief. From all storms that sweep, here we’re sheltered safe!
