Our Future Is Now (Marvellete)

So what say ye about this night
As you stand there in candlelight?
In darkest shadows does love hide?
Or does it glow so burning bright?

As tempest heart resounds and beats
Do you wander on or find retreat?
For I am here, oh blushing bride,
As now your shyness finds defeat.

Oh come, my love, be not so coy
You may just find that you’ll enjoy
Do take my hand, it’s worth a try
We have our passion to employ

Lest not forget the reason here
My love, t’is you, I hold so dear
I see our future within your eyes
For our love will last year after year

It's always inspiring to come upon a new form. I like the way the rhyme scheme is distributed; a nice balance between sameness and variety. And a wonderful example, inspiring. Is this the first Marvellete?

Another of your beautiful works. And a testimony to true love..one that will last through the years. Lovely....Fondly, Carrie
