Our Final Words Proclaimed

I remember you and the last line that we've played I remember your first whisper and our final words proclaimed I recall departing moments and the calling of my name I recall that night's farewell All has changed yet still the same Still too cold to feel the sun Still too warm to taste the rain Till the day I turn to dust Tell me who am I to blame Was it you or was it me Was it bitter destiny Was it unhealed scars and strife that has brought you in my arms to embrace both death and life Tell me who am I to blame Was it you or was it me Was it bitter destiny 'Pon that bench that We once sat Now I write your obituary.

What a marvelous read from a blessed paged built on lines constructed with the lyrics of the skies and words well supported by dynamic foamy clouds. Message well expressed! No doubt an absolute 7##.

You have described well the pain and turmoil that accompanies the loss of a loved one. Words are sometimes few and far between when we need to express our grief. Good job. Emile. #7

There is a fine line that separates life and death -- to embrace both at the same time is heartbreaking. a powerful poem that left me wondering -- a good poem that let's the imagination wrestle for answers. Light and love! 7

Reply for Tim..Since the reply box sucks at times.I do miss both habits of writing without spacing.and not in the middle of the page..You might see some of my poems centered again...Since I dont have in mind to get them published..at least not yet.: )..Unless someone tells me to make use of my lyrics again... Tnks for believing in my poems.

I like either way...I like mine centered. I don't plan on having them published either. To me it seems easier to read.

Charmaine....I like it when it's centered....I like YOU in your poetry. This is beautiful, indeed...yet, I miss the style of you. I feel it somehow different....workshop? ;) Lovely write. Hugs

No,no workshop here dear..I have put only one in workshop for now and it is now revised. The idea of writing at the side was in workshop fpr the other poem though..I really do need to get used to myself writing on the side of the page..But you might see some poems in the center once agsin : )..Tnks so much dear : )

A beautiful poem Charma. Parting is such sweet sorrow. You will have always have those memories of that embrace locked deep in your heart...I do like the format on the left instead of the center but glad you doubled spaced because that is You....a favourite....hugs Tim
