Our Eternal Soul

Our Eternal Soul

Who knows of your eternal soul
Few left behind
With only brevity of time

Soul of life and meaning
Existing collection of our being
Voyage of forever seeking

Fugitive to place or time
Soul wanders endlessly
Vines inept to climb

Shapeless entity form
I am the soul of this soul
Origin of mental storms

O dear soul, you enrage and offend
Pretense of immortality
Wrestling your chaotic wend

O precious soul without vision
Poverty of purpose and wisdom
Eulogy your final collision

What an amazing poem! Good clichés, nice balanced topic, while being wild and open with the happenings... Good writing Levi Johnson

Such precious ramblings.. A bit chaotic and but covering the vacancy, such is much needed it seems. O my, expand your pretense and searching for purpose, could be a worthy goal. THANKS FOR YOUR RECENT COMMENT ON MY POEM.

A good read. Nicely expressed.
