'Makes a lot of sense': RFK Jr. said a worm ate part of his brain

Our Choices

One candidate will rave, lie, cheat and molest The second seems ready to be a hospice guest But we have a third choice With a strong forthright voice Half his mind is brilliant, but a worm ate the rest!

The more I read this, the funnier it seems. We're discussing the recent court decision and the effect it will have. We're watching a mad scene.

An alternate universe where felonies and molestation are deemed a badge of honor. This must be how Alice felt when she said "Things are becoming curiouser and curiouser!"

Robert, this is very funny. Even without the image above. I just know that your limericks will give a laugh out loud. I agree our choices could be better. It looks dim at the moment, people want lower gas prices, without knowing the reason for high gas prices...so important.

Donald, Joe and Robert--really? At least Larry, Moe, and Curly would give us a laugh. Thanks for your thoughtful words, Robert

I think, although in jest, this is the case in almost all of the countries.. Politics is such a dirty game.. buying votes, brainwashing, succumbing to the evils.. This is really funny though..

Silent One, As Mark Twain wrote two topics should never be discussed in polite company, how sausages are made and how politics are conducted! I'm very glad to have put a smile on your face, God bless. Robert

Robert...too funny. I'm actually most amazed at the Democratic Party since we should have learned that we should have someone charismatic for goodness sakes. My wife hates it when I say the race is between a vampire and a cadaver. I'll take the cadaver, but many won't be able to. If I were the candidate in question, I would resign from the race immediately. I can't imagine all the hubris.

I agree wholeheartedly, I believe that both the Republican Eisenhower and the Democrat Truman, would be appalled at the present state of affairs in the political arena. Like you, I'm going with Methuselah! Enjoyed your visit, Robert

Hahah this is hilarious! And so well written! While i am not sure which candidate is which, i still think this is relevant and fitting for many politicians and candidates in many countries today! Pleasure reading your work. You always do this form so well! I surely did smile!

Though I'm not so presumptuous to dub myself the King of Limericks, I am humbled to have been declared the Doggy Limerick King. Politics here in America have gone topsy turvy and are easy to satirize! Bless you for your kind words Ink Empress, always a pleasure to have you drop in. Cheers, Robert

Hello Robert, Your poem cuts through the political noise with razor-sharp wit and insight. The clever wordplay and biting satire illuminate the absurdity of our choices. I love how your ability to blend humor with commentary is both refreshing and thought-provoking. Brilliantly done! - Blessings, Daniel

Thank you, Daniel for your generous critique and visit. When I told them I was going to be a comedian they laughed, well they're not laughing now! Blessings back to you, Robert
