Oscar Night

Glitzy
Fussy
Lacey
Racy
The Oscar gown is worn just one time.
Too tight at the stairs, then she can't climb.

Thank you for your comment. I find the Oscar's to be fairly lightweight.

Your portrayal of Oscar night is rib-tickling, Hilda. It is also accurate, lol. Best wishes.

Oh geez... Got a real laugh out of this Hilda, especially of course, the last line. I didn't see the Oscars but I feel like I can picture it.

A very witty, wry Tyburn piece. Excellent word choice for subject matter. I enjoyed this immensely. Thank you so much for your review of The Rest Of The Story Part Two. Much appreciated

Don't see this form very often, Hilda. Well-written to form, my friend. Good poetry! Bill

Nicely done, Hilda. Kind of like a wedding dress for some, I guess. ~ 'Buttons' Burstyn

Made me laugh, haha. Sometimes i watch them too and make me think that too, they wear those glitszy racey clothes just once and can barely walk. Hah. It was just the other day i was watching one of them and made me think too: Sponsored clothes but still some of them i wouldnt want to be seen wearing! Clever write dear hilda: pleasure always reading your work. Sending you light always

I wouldn't want to wear them either, though sometime a screenwriter arrives in something frumpy. Now that's talking style. I enjoy always your comments.

Written with such cleverness, Hilda your Tyburn poem is truly a work of creativity. It is remarkable to consider that some individuals are willing to spend exorbitant amounts of money just to don a dress for a single occasion.

Thank you . "What will I wear?", is a woman's lament. I, myself, have occasionally been guilty, though I try to keep the price down.

A creative tyburn, Hilda. To think, they sometimes pay 10's of thousands of dollars just to wear a dress once..

If it costs money, it should make money. I'll bet it's just an ego thing. Thank you for reading.
