I like the way you set this one up Barbara. We get to see alot of those orchards here in Fl and that is a great simile. Also the sweet sweet smell of the blossoms you mentioned is overpowering. I have a poem (somewhere!) that I started long ago on this very subject. Enjoyed your Haiku and thank you for your encouraging comment

Like California, Florida has many orange trees and you describe them beautifully, dear LNC. They really do have the sweetest fruit! Best wishes in the contest.
