There once was a woman named Oprah
Who gave the world a lot of hope rah.
She was long time on TV
For the whole world to see
Now she has her own network, our Oprah.

Ha, ha. Enjoyed this one … Here's a did you know: Did you know that Oprah got her name because her parents mispronounced the name of one of Ruth's daughters (Orpah) in the Biblical account (of Ruth)? ---Legend has it like this, anyway … And thank you for sponsoring the great "Who Do You Think You Are? contest, and for your generous evaluation of my contribution. :) gw

I have always loved Oprah; I lived in Chicago in the 80's and was in her studio once. I was so horrified by the subject - divorced women whose husbands had left them for another that my FACE gave away my feelings. The camera panned in on my horrified face so often people stopped me on the street to say they recognized me from the Oprah show, and I was only in the audience!

Nice one for Oprah. My husband does not like her but I wish she would run for president because she knows STRONG good people whose spirituality is not devisive and who could help strongly with the direction our nation goes. I was watching just today her Super Soul Sunday. I enjoy that much more than going to church
